A Bursary is more than just financial support

Studying at university is a life-changing experience that often requires some support. The Hexagon Trust awards several bursaries every year. These bursaries are awarded subject to the general rules and conditions of The Hexagon Trust Bursary Scheme. A bursary is a payment made to an eligible student to support their study. It is not a loan and does not have to be repaid. 

Bursaries are awarded to a range of students including; students facing financial hardship, students with records of high achievement, and students studying specific courses. To view the FAQ section to answer questions about the bursary application process.

How do I apply for a bursary?

Log into the Student Portal with your details, or if you are a new applicant, you must register on the system

Submit your application

Complete the online application form, and attach any documents that are required. for the bursary application.

Check the student portal

Keep an eye on your email, or log back to your student portal to view your application status.

The importance of a bursary

The Trust has touched the lives of more than 18 000 students since operations began in 1987. The numbers in the early years were small however, applications continued to flood since, resulting in workloads growing. Learners are motivated and encouraged to work towards reaching their potential of becoming the role models.
