Hexagon trust has helped me immensely, after achieving my dream of getting accepted at the University of Cape Town which I worked towards for the past 5 years, the only question on my mind was how my parents would be able to afford to send me to such an expensive institution. The fees, accommodation, transportation etc. Words cannot express the joy I felt the day I found out that I would be receiving a bursary from Hexagon Trust, it has helped remove the stress from myself as well as my parents with regards to funding and allow me to spend the time focusing on my coursework. I want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much to everyone at Hexagon Trust and everyone involved. I would like to appreciate the time and effort of making sure that my dreams are not stopped by financial constraints. I know that investing such amounts of money in me may be skeptical, and I understand. Being a first-year student without funding is not that easy, fortunately I was awarded a bursary by Hexagon trust which I am happy that I have no excuse but to unleash my fullest potential.
The money that I have received so far is a book allowance which was used strictly to buy books and study materials, which may be costly and a burden if you do not have finances. This bursary is doing the most to me, I always think on how I can repay you then when I see on your website that you are an NGO (Non-Government Organisation) then I say to myself people like me need help, and I am grateful to be able to continue with my studies without financial stress.
For me to continue my studies here at Stellenbosch University, I should pay my Academic fees together with the registration fee, and other fees listed on my student account, the pdf account statement will be attached to the email together with this document. I am forever grateful to Hexagon Trust for everything that you are doing for me, this will allow me to push myself and work hard to achieve my long-term dream, becoming a professional Mechanical engineer. Your investments will not go to waste.
